The Andersons has invested a great deal in "dispersible granule" (DG) technology which has many features and benefits. Most notable is that the granules disperse into thousands of particles (50,000 particles for a 1 mm particle) when contacted with water from rain, dew, or irrigation systems. This technology allows the ingredients to get into the soil quickly for fast acting and complete coverage. The two main technologies that The Andersons employs are "DGpro" and "NutriDG".

In order to simplify, NutriDG is a high value fertilizer, that disperses when contacted with water, dew, irrigation, or rain within 5 minutes. NutriDG will be available in the Fall of 2007 to our international customers.

DGpro is an "inert" granule that is fully dispersible in water in 60 seconds or less. It is a wonderful carrier for active ingredients, soluble nutrients and amino acids, wetting agents. The granule is also very high in Calcium and Magnesium.
